We are deep into the busy season of June. That means field trips and special events and end-of-year reports and performances and lots of good and fun things but also requires a good deal of organization.

We got a bit of rain over Friday and Saturday which was welcomed by all. Wildfires have already begun across the province so as much as I love the sunshine, I’m happy to see the rain too.
It also gave the girls a chance to experience soccer in the rain for their very last session. I feel like this gives them a better idea of what fall soccer might be like!
The kids had sports day at school this week and had a blast. Pearl came home with a first, second, and a third place ribbon!
This week’s dresses:

That flowery teal dress is especially beautiful! Hope you aren’t too affected by the fires and you’ve still been able to get out and about – hopefully the rain will help too.
Thank you! Fortunately we haven’t had much of the smoke and haze come over our way. Nothing like what it is out east! But it’s always worrying when it’s already so dry so early in the summer season.
Such a warm smile, Karissa. And I think everyone is trying to eat Peter’s brain! Om nom nom. How did your kid manage to come in all three places?
Pearl is just that amazing! She was in three different events and they were divided by age.
